Get Involved

We are always looking for volunteers that are committed, empathetic and passionate about helping our communities.

Volunteer at a Workshop

The Resurrection Project, in partnership with the State of Illinois, City of Chicago, and a number of law firms and nonprofit organizations, is coordinating immigration application workshops for recent immigrant arrivals.

If you are interested in volunteering you can sign up here for an upcoming workshop shift.

Volunteer at our In-House Legal Clinic

Our clinic is held on Saturday and provides consults to community members on services including, but not limited to: citizenship, family petitions, adjustment of status, DACA renewals, U-Visa and VAWA for victims of domestic violence, removal defense, bond hearings, and asylum.

  • Pro bono attorney or law student volunteers help with legal screenings. Depending on language capacity and expertise volunteers assist with DACA or other immigration cases.

  • Non attorney volunteers assist with DACA renewal applications and naturalization applications. Volunteers can also translate documents!

Trainings are provided! Sign up here to volunteer at our legal clinics and you will be contacted for a training.
